Chelsea Flower Show 2024

23 juli 2024

We are proud to look back on an extraordinarily successfull edition!

Three premium outdoor brands united at the 2024 Chelsea Flower Show to create a distinctive and dynamic trade stand. Their aim was to demonstrate to Garden Designers, Architects, Landscaper and End Clients, how their products can seamlessly blend into various styles and settings. Designed and built by Kate Gould Gardens, this year’s garden featured a warm colour palette that beautifully showcased the harmonious integration of the three brands' offerings.

Schellevis: Unique and Timeless paving

Schellevis highlighted its unique paving with pathways crafted from a warm mixture of Taupe, Creme, and Anthracite. These pathways offered an engaging experience for visitors, with several floating step entranceways elegantly leading to a raised bar area. The raised area was one of the many focal points of the garden, through the incorporation of rusted steel edging, Creme trapezium slabs, Taupe block pavers and a Cotswold shingle in between the paving. It was also the first time of showcasing our new "eco pavers" in the UK, which allow planting to grow in the cutouts and even be backfilled with gravel. An understated detail of the garden was the use of permeable grit for laying the Schellevis onto. This not only expedited installation, but importantly ensured natural drainage, addressing the hot topic of sustainable landscaping practices.

Torc Pots: Elegant Planters

Torc Pots: Elegant Planters

Torc Pots enhanced the garden’s aesthetic with their elegant, heavily planted pots. Strategically placed throughout the space, their pots added lush greenery to the trade stand. One of the key elements of the collaboration was the corten waterbowl, which drew significant interest from visitors. This waterbowl, placed on stacked Schellevis slabs, became a focal point of the garden.

We also had a product launch at Chelsea Flower Show, which saw the launch of "Playful Pots". Designed by Erwin Stam, "Playful Pots" are a specially designed Torc Pot integrated with uplighting from in-lite. The collaborative pots were then elevated on two large format slabs of Red Brown Schellevis. These three features became key focal points of interest, drawing visitors and demonstrating how well these products work together.

in-lite: Striking Lighting

in-lite’s striking lighting added an inviting warmth to the space, especially during dusk and the overcast daytimes. The playful lighting was carefully integrated in the garden, enhancing the overall visual appeal and creating a cozy ambiance. in-lite's meticulous lighting design not only illuminated the garden, but also highlighted the beauty of the Schellevis paving and the Torcpots planters.

Highlights & Conclusion

The elevated bar area was the main lure to visitors, to enter the space, which seamlessly showcased all three partners' products together. Schellevis floating steps led visitors up to the bar, which were underlit with in-lite EVO lights. Voque lights were placed on the main floating steps, along with Torc Pots low planters. The bar worktop drew a lot of attention from the crowd, constructed from bespoke creme Schellevis slabs and featured a striking pocket of thyme embedded in the top, with Torc Pots copper patina panels around the base of the bar.

One of the notable nods to the collaboration between Schellevis, Torc Pots, and in-lite was the front water feature. This centrepiece showcased a corten waterbowl of Torc Pots placed on stacked creme large format Schellevis slabs, all beautifully lit with in-lite’s playful lighting.

The result of this collaboration was a stunning and memorable display that left a lasting impression on everyone who visited the 2024 Chelsea Flower Show trade stand. By combining Schellevis paving, Torc Pots planters, and in-lite lighting, the garden showcased the versatility and beauty of these products in a cohesive and visually appealing manner.

We would like to thank all of the visitors to our stand and we hope to see your ideas from Chelsea Flower Show come to life soon utilising our products.
